BRIEF HISTORY

The Church has been in existence for over sixty years. It was founded by Late Apostle Prophet Emmanuel
Ajao Olawoyin of blessed memory, a well-known man of God within the Cherubim & Seraphim Church
when he was alive. Itesiwaju-Olawoyin Parish was previously known as Egbatedo-Olawoyin Parish before
the name change years back, although former documents remain valid. The Church is affiliated to the C&S Unification
Church of Nigeria, Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC) and Christian Association
of Nigeria (CAN). Late Apostle Prophet Olawoyin was Minister-In-Charge from 1954 to 1977. He was
succeeded by Senior Apostle E.O. Sode (1978 - 1982). Superintendent Apostle Kerubu Olawoyin of blessed memory
was at the helm of affairs from 1982 to 2001. The present Minister-In-Charge, Most Special
Apostle Joshua Olusegun Fadare was installed in the year 2003. He has since continued to propel
the work and the word of God for the growth and development of the Church and advancement of the
course of evangelism.
